videoACME Get the Flash Player to view this video.   15 - ADVICE TO BEGINNERS TOM:  Any advice you would give to someone just starting out. NORRIS: Work hard. And learn as much as humanely possible. It’s about everything. When I was a costumer on the sets I used to get really bored because shooting is not very interesting to me. Over and over and over again. And, so I used to watch everybody. The prop guys and the hair and makeup. I’d just entertain myself, I’d watch other people.  Mainly art directors. TOM:  It’s the best live theater around. NORRIS: Yeah it is, it’s true. But you learn a lot. And, I think you just have to leave yourself open to every job is going to teach you something. And learn from it.  We were talking that we both learned more from people that weren’t good than people who are good.  No, it’s odd, but it’s-- when you see something and you say I wouldn’t do that.
