THE ACME is a directory of design resources for film, television, digital media and special event production. Basic resource information is available to the public, however, our professional members have access to more details, Bookmark tools, an Information Request service and the Creative Exchange.

There are many online directories available for production, but few address the needs of the creative professionals working in the Art Department, Set Decorating, Costume and Wardrobe Departments. The Acme was conceived and compiled by professionals who understand the complexities of interpreting a script, which can portray life in the past, present or future. That's why we include companies serving the general public, as well as, the Entertainment Industry's specific needs; from Antique and Vintage Clothing Shops to Set Construction Shops and everything in between.
We're not supported by advertising dollars; our members control the quality of the content. Now, more than ever, when prep time and budgets are shrinking; no one has the time to search out untried sources with the hope they can handle the job. We welcome any comments on the companies listed on The Acme.com, positive or negative. Companies who have failed to supply quality products and services or meet deadlines will be deleted.
The Acme is dedicated to Production Designers, Costume Designers, Art Directors, Set Decorators, Wardrobe Stylists, Set Designers, Previs Artists, Leads, Buyers, Prop Masters, Construction Coordinators, Costume Makers, Prop Makers, Carpenters, Scenic Artists, and the all of the Craft professionals who can turn a sound stage, a green screen or a parking lot into a tropical paradise, a hockey rink, a Space Station...
