MOCA currently holds approximately 5, 000 objects in all visual media, ranging from masterpieces of abstract expressionism and pop art to recent works by young and emerging artists. Designed by Arata Isozaki, MOCA at California Plaza is host to elegant underground galleries, the Patinette cafe, the flagship location of the MOCA Store, and staff offices.
