Laura Di Piazza is a Calligrapher and Abstract Artist. Laura Di Piazza is a top NYC calligrapher who provides hand-lettered calligraphy services for events and custom lettering design for reproduction. She works with institutions and businesses who are ethically and environmentally responsible and engaged in fair-trade practices.When designing lettering for reproduction (film, book and album titles, branding/advertising, etc‚) she first learns about the emotions the project needs to ignite in the viewer. Di Piazza works closely with her clients to deliver lettering that fits with their vision and clearly communicates their message.Laura holds a MFA degree in Interdisciplinary Arts from Goddard College in Plainfield, Vermont and teaches calligraphy workshops at Dartmouth College and Society of Scribes (NYC). Laura started Calligraphy Arts in 1999 and has been fortunate to work with many amazing art directors and clients.
