Tim Bessell, legendary surfboard shaper, has been manufacturing Custom Art, Furniture and Surfboards for over 50 years. He has produced over 46,000 surfboards, gracing the covers of "Surfer Magazine", "Surfing Magazine", "Beach Culture" and many other publications. In 2012, Tim received the license from the Andy Warhol Foundation to produced a line of surfboards featuring the work of the great pop art icon. Released in very limited editions, these handmade works takes Andy Warhol’s graphics and combine them with Tim Bessell's most popular surfboard shapes. These fully functional surfboards are so beautiful they're more often displayed as sculptural objects. Sales and Limited Rentals. Beyond surfboards and creating custom pieces for clients, Tim has produced designs for the clothing company Billabong, as well as for his own clothing line. He has also contributed work to multiple surf films with the production company Watershed Productions. Tim Bessell lives and works in La Jolla, CA.
